Before all this happened Olly was a happy go  lucky fabulous little boy who had attended Pre-school and enjoyed being a big brother to his new little sister. 
I,as a mother would like to spread awareness of this delipatating  illness called Encephalitis that can strike anyone regardless of age, race or gender. 

Oliver goes to Pre- School three time a week and was due to start school April 2016

Oliver communicates well with his key-workers when using emotion card. He will try to explain what he means and attempts communicating with others. Oliver uses some words but can cry or scream is distress. Oliver has made a good group of friends 

Oliver Loves outside play and is confident moving in a variety of ways. He can climb confidently and can pull himself up on the  climbing equipment. He walks upstairs and downstairs holding on to the rail two feet at a time. He is able to kick a large ball. He had developed own likes and dislikes and food and drink.He can drink well from a open cup 

Oliver listens to and enjoys rhythmic activities. He can recognize familiar sounds, Oliver is able to understand simple sentences and can select familiar expressions he can use a range of everyday words.

Oliver uses a familiar adult as a secure base from which to explore his environment and he is able to seek comfort when needed, He can play cooperatively with a familiar adult and is beginning to play alongside others sometimes joining their play. He is able to express his own preferences and interests and can select activities he would like to join. He is sometimes able to distract himself when he gets upset.   

Oliver shows an interest in books and will sometimes look at them with an adult.

Oliver explores objects in a variety of ways, like shaking, hitting, feeling. He matches parts of objects that fit together and can notice detailed features of his environment.

Oliver knows that things exist even when out of sight, He is beginning to use the language of quaintness and can ask for more if he wants to He enjoys inset puzzles and small jigsaws, He enjoys filling and emptying containers.

Oliver loves playing on the musical instruments and is able to accompany a song by playing the tune on an instrument, He moves to music and enjoys dancing and joining in with singing games, He is joining in singing his favorite songs.
